We need a NATURE POSITIVE ECONOMY! Moving forward, we really need to look at all aspects of our community and figure out how to live on this planet in a way that promotes life and longevity for not just ourselves, but our environment as well.

Okay, I’m just going to say it. CIRCULAR ECONOMY!!! If your like I was a few months ago, and this is the first time seeing these two words put together, please let me elaborate. A circular economy is a systemic approach to economic development designed to benefit businesses, society, and the environment. I am really looking forward to exploring the ways this could work for Pittsford! For sure that will mean focusing on our local resources and producers and trying to close the loop.

We have adjusted and opened our minds to new ways of working and doing business because we had to do so. Now, we need to start planning for the future with those open minds. Think about what other nature positive and community positive changes we can make in our community to really support our local businesses. There’s lots of room for us to create our own path forward.
